Yes, Key West does have an airport. Even though the airport is small, many large carriers such as US Airways, Delta and American Eagle have flights to the Key West Airport. Many people fly into the Miami International Airport, 180 miles away and then rent a car. The Marathon Airport is also located in the Keys and is 120 miles from the Miami airport. If you check around you may find smaller airlines such as Cape Air or private charters that will fly into Key West.
